NATtrol Viral Stock (NATXXX-x) is formulated with purified, intactivated virus particles that have been chemically modified to render them non-infectious and refrigerator stable. We have tested them in several human cell cultures in different conditions.
Each vial contains 1.0 mL of Virus NATtrol that contains ~1Kb sequence of the Virus genome engineered into a surrogate RNA virus. NATXXX-ST stock is supplied in a purified protein matrix that mimics the composition of a true clinical specimen.
NATtrol Viral Stock is designed to evaluate the performance of nucleic acid tests for determination of the presence of Viral RNA. NATxxxx-ST can also be used for validation of clinical assays, development of diagnostic tests and training of laboratory personnel. NATXXX-ST contains intact virus and should be run in a manner identical to that used for clinical specimens.
